My Love Will Grow

I need a confirmation
that she truly cares
and it won't necessarely
be her saying "I miss you."
or even "I feel so comfortable around you."
It probably won't be her saying
"Come and pick me up and let's spend
some time together."
Or her saying "I Love You."
Cause she's aaid all those things to me before
and I still Love her the same and not one inch more.
But there are some words I'm dying to hear
from her sweet lips loud and clear.
And so I wrote the words down so my heart will know
if she ever says these words mentioned below
the time has come for my Love to grow.
The words will be "James I know that kissing is very
important to you
and so this woman has decided its time to take
a kissing lesson or two
and the man that's going to teach me
will be you, my Love, yes You."

James

Be patient - your love will grow if it were meant to be.  Sometimes, I must agree, it might need a slight nudge.  Hang in there and take or give all the lessons as they come along!

Thank you serenity, inot, didi and Sven.
Actually this poem is more about the desire to hear those sweet words coming from her lips then the kissing...the kissing will take care of itself...first the words and then the action...and yes I hope she has some kissing lessons for me that will leave me gasping for air...James

James,

I hope she reads this beautiful poem and kisses you both on the lips and in your heart. Being a mushy romantic at heart, I think kissing is vastly underrated and is simply the perfect way to tell someone you love them when you put your feelings into it.
                    well done - Jeff

You last six lines said it all.  These are words that everyone longs to hear...

You know how I do love how you express yourself with such simple and true words!

James, your affection for kissing your ladyfriend is very sweet, as is the way you've written about it here.
