Sometimes, When You're In Your Bathrobe

Sometimes, when you're in your bathrobe
and it's raining, and the minutes trickle,
they trickle, in droplets, on panes
salt stained and bare, you notice the air
twisting, breathing, in the space around
your state, you notice things that feel alive
that reach for you in your time, your
weaknesses swimming, you realize the
kind of energies involved, the kind of
things that pass through you, they're alive,
and sometimes stopping them swiftly,
grasping, feeling, can waken you to
the realities once buried, swarming now,
it's incredible the way the sky can cry
at the most fitting time, as if it knows,
and on days like this when you're in
your bathrobe and it's raining,
you just notice things.

I love the way you describe those moments in this. Too hard to pick a favourite line, it's all great.

sometimes when we wear our bathrobes, we feel things with such intensity...as you have very well related...

Yes ... it is just the way you describe it ...

'it's incredible the way the sky can cry
at the most fitting time, as if it knows,
and on days like this when you're in
your bathrobe and it's raining,
you just notice things.'

Yes.

SpitFire,

Hi you.  Isn't it amazing what we can see in the quiet of the morning when we least expect it?  Things just seem to be so clear.  Perhaps all we needed was a little time for reflection.  Nice you my friend.  **HUGS** Hope all is well.

Wow.  My favorite lines here, though the entire poem is fantastic!!  Such a cozy feeling.  You've got me with this one because the rain is my weakness!!  I absolutely love this one!!  Great writing!
