If Love is a vision, May I dream incessantly. If Love is a wish, Let each star Fall from the heavens. And, if Love is an endeavor, Give me the strength of a thousand. Oh, if Love is faith, I will believe perpetually. If Love is a song, May it play the melody of ecstasy And beat to the rhythm of our hearts. I would sing it every moment That we're apart, Lest I forget the joy you bring me. And if Love is a flood, Don't hold back the waters! Release the dam that contains The deluge of passion! But if Love is the night, May the sun never shine again. I will tell you That, if Love is a language, May my tongue never be bound By the barriers of Ignorance, Nor by the walls of Deception.
