                    When You Found Me

When I was alone, lost wandering in pain
You found me and brought me back home again

When my heart was aching, calling for peace
You came to me bringing me a chance of release

When I was searching for my lover true
You showed me that I had only sought you

When all around me was black as night
You fetched me stars to shine their light

When I had no reason to believe or trust
You proved to me believe in you I must

When my soul struggled to lift and then fly
You kissed me tenderly making my heart sigh

When at last I faced my truth about you
I finally smiled as I said I love you

                               Mushy Marsha

Marsha....
Isn't it nice to have someone special there when we need it? I love this beautiful poem, and I don't think it's mushy at all....just simply wonderful, sis!!

Well, Mushy Marsha, what an expressive love poem you have penned here. I'm sure it was very much appreciated.

Hiya lil sis, isn't it though. But yes sis it is pure mush and I care not. It's how I feel, isn't the world a beautiful place.

Elizabeth, I hope so, and thank you for reading.
Take care

Formatted in an interesting way, and of course the theme, ah, love, how nice it can be. Tell me, how long did you have to wander around in the dark till this magical man found you?
I like this a lot, hope to be able to say the words again someday.

Lakewalker, Glad you like this, and thank you for replying. I just hope it made you smile.

Sandra, the thing is love, that none of us knows how long we travel before we find who we seek. But you will find your special someone, I honestly believe there is a soulmate, for each of us. Although we stumble and fall in our search, you will find someone who makes you feel as wonderful as I do.
Take care of yourself

Marge, the whole poem was actually built around those two lines, and because my man is the one. Thank you Marge for your kind words.

SP, they are my favourites too. And feeling so I could fly high and free. I'm a sucker for stars too, and the best thing is that my man serves them to me daily.

Take care

Elizabeth, so what gave me away do you think? No seriously, thank you, and he knows he definitely knows. (I don't do subtle very well, or at all really   )

Sven, actually I love being the mush queen, and thank you. Although the way I'm feeling I doubt if I could do anything other than mush, or maybe some passion too. I'll have to check that with SEA, she's my unofficial barometer. (Thanks SEA   )
Take care
