Seasons Of No Return

She watches from inside her window,
Praying for his return.
Flowers bloom in her garden,
She counts them one by one.
Tender Spring,
Will you bring him back to her?

Children run and play,
Sprinklers working hard.
Grass so plush and green.
No one sees her broken heart.
Sweet Summer,
Will you bring him back to her?

Fall leaves begin to turn,
Colors bold and bright.
Cool air now chills her,
As she walks alone this night.
Majestic Autumn,
Will you bring him back to her?

Early morn brings snowfall.
She looks into blue sky.
Tears she sheds knowing,
It's time to say goodbye.
Beautiful Winter,
Will only bring her yearning
For these are all the seasons,
Seasons of no return.

Juls* The seasons turned as did the emotions
that you wove along with the exceptional
imagery...excellent writing!

AWG, thank you so much for your well wishes and your kind words. And also welcome to Passions. You'll love it here.

Victoria, thanks sweetie. It's always a joy to hear from you my dear friend. Hugs right back to ya.

Sven, yes for some they may do that. Those wishes were from long ago and I've healed now from all the pain. I may still write about it but thank God I've moved on. Thanks so much my kind friend.

Love & hugs, to you all,
Juls

Such words of yearning. Don't we all just wish to have a touch of love to blanket us? Maybe the season of Winter will grace you in glistening flakes, bringing a new pureness to your life. All one can do is hope... Juliet, thank you for  a beautiful poem to read this morning.
