excuse me Miss I

really do thank you for sharing
your feelings with us I know many
here will feel your idioms and share
in your pain and sorrow I miss her
too you spent your lives together
and in the blink of an eye she
was missing it wasn't how
it was supposed to be
I know how you
promised her
we’re forever
and life’s supposed
to be easy and you can’t stand
her leaving when you should be together

so much that you wonder whose arms will hold you
whose face will offer me a blush and oh why wasn't I with
you life seems meaningless with out you sure life onward
goes but it’s sure empty with out you each day breaks
before I go to toil I lay a rose before a stone that
bears a name leaving soiled I whisper
a prayer and I tell you
how much

"I Love you"

a tear spills ever
so silently as I recall
those were the last words
you ever said to me right

before the surgery.

Oh, Lucky~
Is it no wonder Rosemary loves you so ...
Your pain is as great and please know that
you are understood.

What a loving couple you two are ...
you're both a testament as to why it works.

*Hug* each other !
I love you both.

Dale--this is so full of sadness and love and so tenderly written and although I'm not sure who you are speaking of or to, I know your love is true.  Hugs!

Marge,
Thank you so much, such sweet words... It was kind of a hodge-podge of the many losses.

Martie,
I hope that explains it a little. That's what happens when you've adopted so many.

Balladeer,
I do thank you my friend... You seem to be on a pretty good roll yourself lately. RJ's still ROF... nice work to you.

You speak words of sorrow with such depth and feeling.  This poem is especially tear-jerking to me, and I gaze at you with renewed awe at the power of your writing.  With love, Rosemary
