Saying Good-Bye

Alot of things
Happen in life
Like getting married
Becoming man and wife

We hope to stay together
In each other hearts
But the trust is gone
and we've drifted apart

We decide to divorce
And go our own way
What about the kids
What do we say

As I pack my things
And load the car
I tell my kids "I love you"
And that I'm not going far

We can still see each other
Every day after school
Have sleepovers on weekends
That would be cool

I'm not leaving your life
Just the home we lived in
You'll always be in my heart
And when I see you I get a big grin

Djs~ this is so sweet.....your kids are lucky to have a father like you.....divorce is never easy....stay true to your babies....

SEA- Thank-you, I am their mother and I will stay true to them.

Jeff- Thank you very much.. It means alot to me coming from you. I have read your work and some has hit close to home. I appreciate your comments
