Cupid shot and arrow
But my heart he did not find
Cupid shot an arrow
Right in my
Behind this tales a story
Of a love that has gone wrong
You’ve heard it told in poems before
And in a million different songs

I thought we had a true love
I thought our feelings didn’t lack
But a fellow winked and off she went
And she still ain’t been back

Cupid shot an arrow
But my heart he didn’t find
Cupid shot an arrow
Right in my
Behind your bedroom curtain
I saw a silhouette
Of you and some other man
In a lovers sweet duet.

My jaw dropped to my ankles
Just couldn’t take no more
So I went trampling round to the front
To find a line six deep at your door

Cupid shot an arrow
But my heart he did not find
Cupid shot an arrow
Right in my
Behind every great man stands a women
And if I do find one by chance
I hope she is a seamstress
To patch up all my pants.

You are good!!  The more I read of yours, the more I have to read of yours!!!  This is so funny, and I like the phrasing!!
