"Miracle"

I am a firm believer now that miracles do come true
I believe in them because I met you
I believe that you and I will be together
And now I believe in happy endings and forever

You are my miracle, make me believe in what I can't see
And you make me never give up, and always to believe in me
But Angel of mine, I see the tears that you cry
As each day we're not together passes us by

Obstacles in the way, mountains standing tall
Trying as hard as we can, only to hit another wall
But then I think of you, my miracle, my love
And I feel at peace, like a white flying dove

So maybe we should throw caution to the wind, and think with our heart
Perhaps, today is the day for a brand new start
Because you have taught me miracles come true
And I believe in them because I have you.

~Amy Kennedy~

I believe anything anyone writes...even roses are red violets are blue...etc...is something good because you are sharing your feelings...which some people never do...so we are fortunate enough to get a chance to see you, inside of you, and so...no poem is not good enough...they are all gifts from the poet...and thank you vey much for sharing your gift it with us. the only thing that matters is that you believe ...
the rest will come in time ...
and maybe your muse is off with that moody muse of mine...
I'll bet they will show up tanned and rested ...
WHY dont they ever take us when they go on holiday???

I must agree with Sunshine. . . it came from your heart. . .and that's all that matters. . .

Those muses can be pesky can't they?

Amy, These are your words and as such they are beautiful. As you are, as is your soul, you have an amazing ability to write truth, clearly and honestly. Just reach into the well of your feeling and let them flow. Amy this is as wonderful as it could be.
Take care

Mmmm muses have a tendency to do that at time's
but hon it was what you felt inside and you expressed it well, that's the main point of poetry *expression of our emotions* well done I say

Poetry can be a very personal thing because you're sharing your innermost feelings and you hope the readers understand by relating this to their perspective on the same feelings. Poetry is always a virtual thing because we can describe a beautiful flower but we can't really smell it or pick it or touch it.But we can call to the readers mind the times when they experienced the same feelings. You have done this here with no inhibitions and of course it draws the poetic reader close to you. It's like every reader sees and feels the same thing from their own perspective.... very well done!! great poem!!.....ethome

Isn't it funny - when we think we haven't written anything very great -but we did it from the heart- and everyone recognizes it and responds...Surprise! it is great!
