He said just shut off the water,
And I could fix that drip,
So I made sure no water was running,
And with my wrench I got a firm grip.
I turned and turned that thingy,
But it wouldn't loosen at all,
So I went and got a hammer,
Or...maybe it's called a maul.
Anyway, I whacked that wrench,
And finally I got it to crack,
Pleased with this accomplishment,
I patted myself on the back.
Now I could take it all apart,
And replace those little rings,
So I lifted up on the faucet,
To find those tiny things.
Old Faithful shot up in the kitchen,
And I was dripping wet,
Seems hubby had called it right again,
And I had lost the bet!

BSC, Bravo! At least you tried! Sometimes we have to let them think we're helpless, a ego thingey! Great Great Read.    Connie

When the well runs dry

Hi Bonnie,

"OH" this made my day, my toilet upstair (were the living area is) just got fixed last night, its only taken the so called plumber four months to do it, im thinking maybe I should of pulled that blasted thing of the floor and let the water run to high heaven. This is a total gem dear and I shall treasure it as such.

Love, Cerenity
