We’re waiting,
Bodies grown cold as the ground,
Frost coat white
In the night,
Slow at decomposing found;
We’re waiting.

Sprinkle the white,
Powered lime on icy frost,
Long laying,
Old slaying,
Days since the spirit was lost,

Lime us white,
Send us to dust in the ground.

Gloom 2000

Should be in the Dark Passions, but...

I think it's fine right where it is, when I think of snow, I think of an immaculate blessing, no matter how dark the night is.

"When red-haired girls scamper like roses
over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""

Thank you, Irish Rose,
Glad you liked it here,
I wrote it in response to a poem already posted here
At Open #10, or just a part of a line actually.
