Paradise Cafe, An Update

Maybe some of you will already know
About the very special place that I go
The Paradise Cafe is its a very apt name
A paradise indeed for lovers all the same
One night, it was rather late in the bar
My man had gone home, but I hadn't so far
Sadie said, Hey Marsha! Let's have a chat
Well, I couldn't turn love down just like that

So I looked at my watch and stifled a yawn
How this as an excuss will be met with scorn
Still I was always welcome to come and go
And Sadie prepared for the drinks to flow
She brought me my drink, an Angels Kiss
As I sat there sipping, wondering what I'd miss
Marsha, she said, I need some good advice
Imagine me! Telling love about lovers price

It's the bar you see, I breathed a huge sigh
Thank you I murmured to the angels near by
Does this cafe need something, to give it pizzazz
How about those Dream Boys, or maybe some jazz
Oh! I said, scratching my head, Um Sadie
I'm sure you're quite a stylish classy lady
But Sadie, really this is far far too silly
Lovers won't want some guy flashing his w****

Maybe the jazz as an idea is rather good
But the bar, leave it to go on as it should
It's always been, still is, a fashionable spot
You really don't want the pace to be too hot
The lovers like to relax here together at night
It's lively enough, Sadie I know that I'm right
Sadie, although a little drunk on lovers wine
Thought for a moment and replied that's fine

So if you're going to Sadie's place tonight
And the music's good and the mood just right
But still you wish there were just a little more
I'm the one who's soley to blame that's for sure
It was my idea to keep the place exactly the same
Sadie was very keen to make her Paradise the Name
Still I prefer it, and I'm sure you will agree
That lovers need their place to feel totally free

So the Paradise Cafe is the place for me
Where Sadie sings about loves' place to be
The lovers can dance, or watch the show
Softly lit by stars and moons silver glow
On the dance floor the clouds gently swirl
And Sadie will delight as she does her twirl
Angels pass out the dreamy cocktail drinks
So where am I? Now really, where do you think?

Mushy Marsha

Kari, thanks love, yes quite true, I'm over by the bar, feeding my man some cocktails! (Now what would you recomend, Between the Sheets, A long slow, or something a little spicier?)
Take care kid

Ethome, Oh yes, I can't see it shuting down can you, the lovers would riot. I did enjoy writing this one, it was great fun. Possibly because I can actually picture what Sadie's place would be like. So I'll see you there?

Jwesley, yes from that booth, you get a very good veiw, and not just of the dance floor. I know you're hoping to see the dancing angels as they take their wings off aren't you?
Take care

Marge, that's so nice, thank you. This is my fun poem, I got to thinking, what would happen if Love asked me for advice. And this was the result. Anyway it made me smile, and I hope it made you smile too.
Take care

So do I still get my special seat?  I know that Sadie will hold it for me won't she?  I have room for all of the MBOOPA's  as well.

Still my favorite place to hang out you know.

Paula, I wouldn't dream of allowing Sadie to change so much as one star twinkle. And I thought I saw Insect over by the dance floor waiting for you. Go on girl give him a twirl.

Mark my friend, Sadie is definitely saving your seat, she has a very strong penchant for cowboys.
I don't know about the MBOOPAS, they can be a bit rowdy you know, they need a firm hand to keep them in order. Still if you'll vouch for them, they may just get in.
Welcome home Mark, you've been missed.
Take care
