Autumn comes and goes..
just like you
spinning through my mind
a whirlpool.. memories blue
fluttering on the clothesline
memories..a bold tattoo

Shouting you out of my sheets
bleaching you out of my bed
no soft downy words
no more pillow tears shed

No more tumbles in the sack
and no more agitation
hanging you out like a scarecrow
as neighbors watch in fascination

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Your sadness is very well expressed.
