I broke a leg on the stage
The bit bullet broke my teeth
Winged it and compressed my spine
The flying leap messed my feet

Stood up to be counted, was ignored
Saw shrubs instead of forests and trees
Rolled my eyes right out the door
Stumbled after and broke my knees

I bit the big one, it bit back
Eyes on the back of my head won't look
While healing took up literature
And was devoured by a...
