In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-10-31 10:35 PM

Standing ‘pon the edge of  moon
Cosmic fluids rushing downward
A silver’d blood softly bathing
My somber, life-weary eyes.

Sliding through the crevices
Caught between this mortal clock
I fade from all redundancy
And meld with sparkled night.

Whispers lost to distant twilight
Fall clearly against my ears
The clutter plaguing saffron sunshine
Now brushed away from this eve.

Your face...stamped across the dark
A cool breath to my dying soul...

Standing ‘pon the edge of moon
I cry in streams of pearled starlight
Wanting to unite with you
On living earth and eternal plain...

So from the edge of moon...I jump...
falling gently back together...and back to us.

Stunning...I really liked that last phrase...had a note of optimism and determination.

I loved the images you used in this poem, a kind of bright night picture that I liked muchly. I also thought highly of those last two lines. Loved this one much, sweetheart

Krista~
There are so many lovely thoughts in here.
That soft little muse is whispering lovely things again.
Enjoyed the read.

I thank you all so much for your kind words and especially to you Marge for pointing out those teeny spelling errors.
