ahh..
Lonely wind howls,
October fun reminiscent,
Of decadent chocolate days.
Romping, chanting, running,
Bagged,
In big orange plastic,
While driving slowly,
Making our way down,
To the houses,
Baring bright porch lights,
Like beacons for sweet little devils,
And flowering littl angels.
Little sisters in awe,
Amazed by the new site,
And the new fun,
About and out,
On this exciting Autumn evening.
When first I graduated,
From trick or treat status,
To adult sister chaperone,
Sharing in the fun,
I was sad almost.
But once I began to see,
Those painted eyes light up,
From an undisturbed perspective,
I had a whole new kind of delight.
So as I miss you all tonight,
My dear little sisters,
I hope you are having,
As much fun as we all once did.

What a lovely perspective you looked upon this...and still conveyed the anticipation of those goodies!
