Rainydays...hope to brighten you up...the last poem I read from you was very sad.

The rains come.

Bringing a subtle peace
A hush upon the ears
Tickling rose blooms
With soft tender tears

Tears that are sweet
To taste on the tongue
To step through the drops
To dance and to run

A day to count pennies
To dream and to cuddle
Watch downy clouds drift by
Through a reflection in a puddle

To smell the freshness
Of a day that’s been cleansed
Discovering a rainbow
As it colorfully bends

Rain is so dreary
I hear many say
But I see the beauty
In each rainy day.

Oh my! What a completely disarming gesture. Ron, thank you so much for this beautiful rainy day poem. I love the innocent, earthy feel of it! Your sweetness (and skill) are so very touching to me...thank you, my poet friend.

Great tribute to one of our own, Ron!  I love it!
(rainy days are my absolute favorite, too, btw!!)
