A way into wayoutwalt

For his warped sense of reality
Words not written in haste
I called a brain searcher
From a brain searcher place.

The Doctor rode over
On a three legged horse,
His nurse by his side,
With a jack-hammer of course

Into Walt’s head we will wander
To see what twisted things we will find
Or maybe we won’t
And that will be fine

To his head we attached
A blue clock with six dynamite sticks
“In Just a few moments”, said the Doc
“We’ll see how Walt ticks”

The explosion was loud
There was an echoing boom
We all walked right in
And it wasn't to soon

A flamingo with a cigarette
Tucked there in his beak
Gave me a wink
And gave the nurse a nice tweak

We went through a closed door
Not attached to a room
Saw a bucket of ice water
Balanced on top of a broom

We kicked some old beer cans
Through a hole in the wall
Out came an ump
Who screamed out "FOUL BALL!"

We then followed a sign
That said, Please Go This Way>>>>>
And we came right back again
To the start of the circular maze

The doc put down had his spy glass
So I asked for a solution,
"What do you think, Doctor?"
He spoke, "I've come to a conclusion"

"Empty”. Said the doctor
“There’s nothing in here,... er…”
“Wait!”, he then cried out
“It’s all done with mirrors!”

The doctor then smiled
Said,“I’ve had a good time.”
His nurse blowing bubbles,
Followed behind.

I asked if he knew,
"Have you found it out, Sir"
He nodded his head, saying
"Yuh, Yuh, Yuh."

So we left Walt’s head
I was still in a daze
Because I still don’t understand
Half of the things that he says.

(I do understand...it just fits with the poem...yuh)

Ron my man, you are just simply amazing my friend.  He is going to love this and I cant wait to see how he responds to it.  Now if you listen real close you can pick up what he is saying but any outside noises or distractions can make you miss the all important stuff.  LOL....excellent write again from you.

His head is not empty
As you will soon see
It has all kinds of wonders
Imaginably...

A kind hearted poet
who brings one to laugh
and then he writes seriously
his stuff such a gas

Then there's just way out
As way out can be
But he'll always be the best
of the poets to me!

Oops, forgot to say I LOVED IT!!!

Ron, this is Wayyyyy outtttt!!!     I liked it. I like reading his way out words too. You've a real talent for capturing your friends here at Passions in verse, my poetic pal, and I admire you for that. (Oh, and Woodrow may have gotten his kiss, but we still maintain separate castles)

Take care,
