This post came about when someone very close to me desided to turn something I said in to a bounch of lies and it hurt me and others. I am always so amazed at how someone can possiably think it would not do any harm to do thiskind of thing.

Does Anyone Speak The Truth Any More?

Silence the untruths not needing sounding,
but as for the truth, tid bits or
mountains high, feel free to broadcast
day and night.

Unnecessary words, who has the strength to waste!

No need for waves capsizing “all” in their path,
where comes any progress from that.
Does not the soul delight in the
sharing of the truth?

The stumbling of a heart can follow
the guilty a life time.

Pure bewilderment I have maintained
at the delight of others.
So much sadness crosses my heart just to
find words were faulty,
given by unworthy advisories in jest.

When I speak I try from the very deepest
cell to impart the truth
giving a source of light, justice and power.

Food for thought, not to ponder in vain.

Advancement in life is gained only
by truths you’ve learned.
Sadly I am learning to become deaf
to some that mean so much to me.

Wisdom can be found in a suckling child
who has repeated the smallest
hurtful thing, learning from understanding
its pain.

Is our growing in years suppose to mean
“something” or do we gain truths for nothing?

Why not give the truthful word a try,
a wise man knows in the end
even the stupid will understand because
of they out come bring all “truths”
full circle.

Cerenity~
I'm sorry that anyone would take what you say
and twist it and turn it to fit their sad needs.

Nice to see you standing tall
in the face of this adversity.

'bring all “truths”
full circle.'

And the truths will know.

Hi Marge and SouthernStar,

Thank you for you kind words. I took time before I posted this because writing it gives me a sort of fininsh to what happend, whats funny is I don't dislike the person at all, some how they feel the need to live with them selves in a kind of turmoil, its not the first time they have done this and probley not the last. I can take it and put it were it belongs IN THE TRASH but I feel that others that were involved might not be able to do this. This kind of stuff happends every day to almost everyone, and it never seems to make any sence WHY do they really have all that extra energy and time to waste on such ugly things in thier lives. I think the world throws enough at us to deal with. This was not supose to be a sad statement I think, but rather one to renforse my strength in dealing with it and a way to put a finish on it. Thank you again for your words of kindness.

Love, Cerenity

You write you heart and the words so
well...I've had moments when I wondered the
same thing...but ya know what...those that
KNOW your heart...Know the truth!! I know it
still hurts...But for what it's worth...I
know you would never say a word to hurt a
soul.  Excellent work~

Straight from the heart, Cerenity. Glad to see you're not letting this get you down. I'm disgusted when I hear things get twisted by others so they can hear what they want. Sad state of affairs we live in today.

Loved that line Cerenity! So true ... it's too bad we get tangled up in some of these webs by others, great closure you penned on the situation. Nicely done!

Best wishes,

Cerenity, I live each day with misunderstandings, words can be twisted and they do sometimes cut deeply even when not meant to. It is so hard especially on here to feel words intonations and to know  whether someone jests or is serious. Many, many times I have lost friends over them thinking the worst when they just didnt understand me. I think sensitive persons are this way. Here's hoping  your heart is eased  from this. huggz

*I think I like that thought above enough to use it this morning in a poem..I thank you for that inspiration. I have decided to write all new poems on this site so the poets on here have become my muse.

Hi
Kethry, Kit, Wynter,

Thank you so much for you loving words to this poem. I sence posting this piece have gained a lot of strength in dealing with it and how I should handle the prob. when I have to face the instigater, which no matter what will have to do, I am trully hoping for a good out come, I do know this person well enough to know that as for him, he will probley tear it apart, but for me I am going to keep my integrity intacted, I feel this is the way to handle it, I could be wrong but I think I will at least try. Thank you again.

Love, Cerenity

I related so well to this, as I was the victim of faulshoods for so many years by people I once cared about. But I never defended myself because the truth speaks for itself. It needs no defence. Recently when those deceived came to my home and saw the truth, they were so sorry they hadn't been closer through the years. I don't spend time or energy fretting about what others are saying. I figure it's their problem. I don'r have a problem with the truth.
Great poem , Cerenity

Cerenity it's a long old road that does'nt have a turn in it...the majority of the time these malicious gossipers hang themselves. Paula,
Thank you for your kind reply, I believe the truth is all there is, there is no comparison between the truth or lying its like oil in water. I have suffered greatly for telling the truth in my life but when things like this happen I know I am not in the wrong, and yes maybe sometimes its not the greatest story line, but thats why there are so many poets, just enough in all areas, thank you again.

Liz,
Hi girl friend I am so glad to hear from you, I hope you are OK. Then you can understand why I hurt because you have been there plenty, I try to not let things like this get to me, this time it really got to me mostly because it hurt my girls why because it was thier own father. I for the life of me can't understand some people, on one hand they claim they want something and on the other they cut it in to peices (BLOWING MY MIND HERE!!!!)Thank you hun I always love to hear from you and I send my love your way, please take care, and I will be thinking of you and Tony.

Spike,
"OH" you are so right, but I keep caring for these people and always seem to get it again, you would think I would get sick of it. Thank you so much for your kind words.

Ethome,
You are so right they hang them selves, but for some reason the rope breaks and once again they are on there way repeating the same old stuff. Thank you so very much for you kind reply.

Love to all, Cerenity

This is excellent; not only because it is so very true, but because you stand proudly as you say it   I simply cannot understand why people prefer to lie when the truth is so much more simple, each and every time.
