She stares into the heart of the earth and sings, Not of gold, silver,nor that of diamond rings, But a tune, a melody,that friendship brings, One to her soul,That touches everything, As she swings across the midnight sky, Tears flow from her eyes,like sparkles touching the earth, Diamonds of love glittering, streaming down, For all her heart is worth, As she sings her tune of love, friendship songs are falling to the ground, Giving her peace and love into the needing hearts, Of all those who gather around, Where love was lost, pain was king,true love meant everything, Hearts of love and joy now abound,Friendship angel, Whose feet never touch the ground,What a blessing has been found, As I look into the sky, I see her fly by, My friendship angel flowing her love into the earth, Like the winds blowing her sparkling gown, I wave goodnight,and my heart is healed once more, As she has done a thousand times before, Friendship angel disappears into the night, All that is left is the sparkle of her light, I am changed forevermore... |
