When Tears...Are Shed

A day like today brings those "tears" to my eyes.
The first tears this morning were due to those "lies".
But later this day, as my afternoon came,
The tears that I shed were "relief" once again.
Then as hours went by and I spoke with a friend,
The drop that came tearing was from "laughter on end".
And by the time we had finished, and talking was done,
The last tears were shed from the loss of just "one".

**it's ok to shed a few...for the fond memories and for your "loss"

Such true thoughts; wonderfully written and some great reminders here too

Hi, thanks for reading and understanding my poem, and dedicating this little gem to me. How sweet. I know tears can be good on occasion, I am just looking to put mine away now, and they are uncooperative.
Take care
