Ok this more like lyrics than a poem I guess, but it was stuck in my head (you know the feeling) and it wanted to come out and play. Now what kinda person would I be to keep it locked up. I must be in a song writing mood. Sorry if it doesn't belong here, just trying to find it a home (like a puppy)

Yeah it matters were you’re goin’ baby
Just like it matter’s where you’ve been
And if you ain’t so careful sugar
This love is gonna end.
‘Cause I’m walking
Walking right out that door.
And if you don’t believe it baby
I’ll come back in and do it for you once more.
Yeah, I got those
I ain’t gonna take it no more blues.

Yeah I’m getting’ tired
Of those same old lies,
I smell your dirty cheatin’ laundry
Just by looking  in your eyes,
I’m walking baby
Walking right out that door
And don’t be callin’ out my name
I aint gonna be comin’ back here no more.
Yeah, I got those
I ain’t gonna take it no more blues.

Monday, you were missing
Tuesday, Wednesday too
Thursday you said you were busy
Friday, there’s no clue
Saturday I came calling
Wasn’t no one home,
Sunday comes, you tell me,
You want to be alone.
Now I ain’t no professor,
But mama didn’t raise no fool,
Since you have no answers,
I’ll tell you what I’ll do.
I’m walking.
Walking right out that door.
Well, see that doorknob baby,
That’s what I’m turning it for.

It don’t matter were I’m goin’ baby
Just like it don’t matter where you’ve been
And since you’ve found some other
This love is gonna end.
‘Cause I’m walking
Walking right out that door.
And if you don’t believe it baby
I’ll come back in and do it for you once more.
Yeah, I got those
I ain’t gonna take it no more blues.

Bye bye baby.

Yup, it's a song, all right!

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound.

Ron K, Oh yes it is a song now all you need is the music. (Paging them right now, for you!) I really like this one, I shall definitely be expecting to hear this on the radio. Great work.
Take care
