My heart aches, so much pain
I am lost in solitude
Knowing not, what tomorrow might bring
I need comfort and love
Whatever it is this hurt
Is more that I have experienced.

I have given of myself
And never asked for help
Years of caring for others
Now I need help
And it deserts me
Whatever I have to do
To regain my dignity
I will meet with God's help.

I sought not to hurt others
Though, I have been hurt by many
From the brink of breakdowns
I have managed to see another day
I still love, I still care
And I hold no grudges
All I ask is a helping hand.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Ah, I feel your solitude and pain, and you are not alone in it. Please email me if you would like to talk. I know so well how this feels.
Peace.

Your words hit us all. I feel the pain. Hang in there and it will be better sooner than you think. Head and chin up. And here's a hand if you need it.

I see nothing but beauty when I read your words; beauty of heart and soul, you've got it better than most who think they have it all! Hang in there, grap hold some hands and I agree, you deserve better.  YOur friend, Marcy

Very nicely written, Daniel.  I do know exactly how this is.  It's almost as if our love goes unnoticed.  Great write, my friend!

At that point, when we are so lost, we don't know which way to turn, we have a choice. We can turn inward, or we can release it.  For a poet, releasing it comes naturally and thank God for it.  Others, well, we've seen it, haven't we?  Drugs for one, and other things people turn to when they feel alone.  Nothing helps because it's internal and must be expressed.  Someone told me once to write FROM my expression, and not of it.
I disagree.  I believe the poet must write from his expression, and to blazes with the poetic rule.  It's like releasing the sunrise, no question, every day it's released. Or the storm clouds, they rarely stay pent up for long, just as nature renews and releases itself, we have to, we absolutely have to.  Only a person who has experienced the deepest pain in their life, whether from loss or grief,  can understand a piece like this. Believe me when I say, I understand pain.

This speaks volumes of someone who has certainly stepped to the edge of discovering a release.

I say keep writing.

Hi Daniel, I agree, please do keep writing. I've only just discovered you Passions folks, but from what I can tell, it's a lovely gathering of gentle souls. I'm sure you have friends here, and I would enjoy being counted as one of them. You express yourself so well.

Take care,
Rainy

To Irish Rose.
My dear Kathleen,
I thank you so wholeheartedly for the feelings you have shown in your reply to this poem. I can reassure you that the hurt have been very genuine. I had to write these feelings down, and I thank God that I did, judging by the support I have been receiving. Your gift to soothe pain is very beautiful and I thank you so much for taking the time to meet me head on. I am heading back home today to rebuild our relationship and I certainly am not giving up writing.
God bless you!

SEA,
Your words as ever are very comforting, and I treasure your kindness. Thank you so much.

Rainydays,
Your words express so much concern, they have helped my healing. Thank you.
