Fluting winds whisper softly in the breeze
can you hear them in the moonlight?
dark shadows dance in black chemise

Sweet scent of roses linger in the night
shadows tango across beach floor
eerie winds play tenderly with delight

You can see her dance with her paramour
her flowing hair upon his shoulder
phantom of Raven Beach and his Lenore

The darkness peeks and it becomes colder
the blanket of the night surounds their souls
a raven stalks perched upon a boulder

Their love precious as the dead sea scrolls
fluting winds serenades before dawn tolls
