In the winds of Cherokee song

Midnight Hour

Graveyard howls
fogged over wolf bark
shadows ...
ghosts ...
legends in the dark

Wisping winds
lending heart of fear
branches skewn
tapping,
tapping,
stepping to the rear

Clouded visions
harvest moons
alley cats sing in rain
screaming
moaning
as would a baby's pain

Screeches of bats
hoots of owls
jewels of eyes that gleem
staring
winking
Is this what it seems

A muffled knock
creaking hinges set to draw
tears of joy flock
fear
anxiety
disappeared with bells of clock

well at midnight, I lie in my bed..
covered with a blanket, pull it over my head,
no way...me scared...no you see that wrong..
I am singing my own brave song...
not hiding for the creep...
oh my, I need my sleep,
to forget my fear,
cause halloween is near.

*creepy feelings overhere*

Mark, now that's it I'm off to hide in the cupboard again. Ooooooooh what was that,
I'm off.
Great poem my friend, really great, and the graphics are fantastic. I do like this, I really do.
Now all I've got to do is find someone who knows how to keep the spooks away!!
Take care,

There is something about that midnight hour especially at this time of year time seems to stop with the loud bong of the clock striking midnight, creatures roam about and black cats come from everywhere and have you noticed the full moon lately anyways as you see I loved it Mark so creative in words and in graphics you my man know how to capture us in the moment. My hats off to you!

Mark, I don't want to play with spooks, it would be fine except that I don't know any spooky games. Let them go and play in the orchard, they can throw apples at each other. All I want is someone to keep them away from me, do you know anyone? Well if you do send them around!

Kit-Thank you.  It was a different style for me as you know but I do like to try new things once in awhile.  Hugs to you my friend.

Marsha-Awe, don't be afraid of them.  They just like to have fun you know.  As long as you don't mind getting slimed a little and going home with a few small marks on your neck then what the heck.  Go one, give it a go, they really are aren't too bad. LOL...

Mark, well that's it you see, I do mind being slimed, and as for marks on my neck, well!! So come Tuesday night, I'm staying as far away as I can from any spooks, goblins, witches, gouls, and any combination of them you care to name. Now where do I get my protection from, and whom do I pay, because I know it's going to cost me. MMmmmm?
Ohhhhhhhh my! oh my! oh my!
