                    Lightening strikes
                    my heart beats faster
                    then comes rain
                    loud like laughter

                    On my face
                    I feel a slap
                    but it was just
                    a thunder clap

                    A deadly voice
                    calls my name
                    it's only the wind
                    but still the same

                    When the storm is through
                    then I'll be free
                    from the weather of feelings
                    so deep in me.

Wouldn't it be nice if a storm can clean
up our feelings. I loved the way the storm flowed through the poem.

                             Don't know why
There's no sun up in the sky
                             Stormy weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
                             Keeps raining all the time
                             Life is bare
                             Gloom and misery everywhere
                             Stormy weather
Just can't get my poor old self together
                             I'm weary all the time
                             Every time
So weary all of the time
                             When she went away
The blues walked in and then they met me
                             If she stays away
That old rocking chair's bound to get me
                             All I do is pray
The lord above will let me
Just walk in that sun again
                             Can't go on
                             Everything I had is gone
                             Stormy Weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
                             Keeps raining all the time
Keeps raining all of the time

So will the brim of a cowboy's hat give you some shelter of what you need?  Hope so, and don't forget that standing under a cowboy's hat is like standing under mistletoe at Christmas.

SEA, are you okay love, I know you have some trouble and maybe the storm will pass taking it with it. This is a magnificent poem, now why didn't I see this before. If you need me just yell. Sometimes it's a good idea to 'talk' it all through.

loved this phrase
