This has been written by all the members of the MBOOPAS. (Daphnie, says please remember your promise Mark) Friendship Recipe Friendship ahh so what makes a friend? Take a basketfull of loving kindness Stir in a heap of tolerance Pour in a generous spirit Mix together with firmness Turn it out onto a board of good sense Make it into large rounds of patience Bake in a moderate oven Until it's tender Serve with smiles and good humour The resulting dish will be best served often and generously. SEA, Glad you liked it, now I'll crack the whip and get my slaves back to work. As if they'd let me! Actually when the boss isn't around this is a very friendly office, so we know about friendship here. It's a bit like the three musketeers, except there's no swords, no frenchmen, oh and not a lot of fighting, and there's ten of us. Still in all other respects, that's us, all for one and one for all!! Peppermint, frequently served, delicious with wine and songs (That's David again, likes the pub does our David!) Mark, well thank you, and Daphnie is blushing furiously. Friendship, tonight they are all, excepting me because someone has to finish this pile of work, they are off to the pub to raise their glasses to Friends and MB. I don't know what MBOOPAS are, but I did like the poem. And that, and friendship, and sharing is what it's all about. MBOOPAS...is that like oompaloompas? sigh...I'm always so confused... |

Poet de Vine, thank you, from them all, and the next to last is just going out the door now. Smiling broadly, and sending out positive beams of friendship to all of you here at Passions. Serenity, it's just a little group of friends in my office, all of whom adore poetry. Well they do now!! Thank you from them all, they are all surprised that the poem came out at all. However it was very much a group effort, with lines and some words coming from each member.
