On this night full of fall moon
The dream that is you fills my closed eyes
You - a pristine, old growth forest
Standing tall and straight
Scented with moss and pine

Candlelight reflecting the love in your eyes
Your softness, your sweetness, your strength
I seem to have absorbed so much of you
I feel I overflow

You
You are that part of me
I love touched
I feel I smell of you
Sound like you
Smile like you
Even when we're apart

I dream of you
Our flesh, one flesh,
A union transcendent
Radiant of love's heat

I breathe your breath
My heart I swear has your beat
I perspire - it is you
With sculpting fingers
Our hungers - come to life
Hands leaving the hot brands
Searing our skins

Out of body
I watch - yet
Feeling, delirious, dizzy
falling, tensing, flushed
Long after I wake
I'll remember this moment
You will remain
Yea, after we are but memories
Always
You are -
I am
Part of each other
We define love

You have found and penned the perfect definition of love and I can only wish for you that you have this for all your days.  Beautiful work my friend and wearer of the crown.

Victoria-
Never have I felt so deeply before - and if depth is any measure of durability or constancy - I feel very secure - thank you

Peppermint -
yes - there is hope - there are others who share the same love - don't shy away - risk all - but it doesn't belong to the shy Thank you

Paula-
Even the lowly vulture can't always just wish
It too must occasionally must create it own carrion - so too with great love -

Mark -
a perfect definition? - perhaps- I'd like to think a good one - it defines me - and subtly includes my prayers  - time will tell Thank you

Martie-
If my lady love tingles when she reads this - there's hope for me yet - Thank you

Karilea-
I'm getting a message here - does this mean -some love isn't soft? that I might write about another aspect?  - oK - I'll see what I can do
