I was inspired to wrote this one on Ron K. Fox ..what makes a Poet

Dont know what makes a Poet.

Well I really don't know what makes a poet,
can't give you the answer, wish that I could say it.
I don't even know if poems must be flowing or not,
or must translate the feelings that they've got,
and do they have the need to write them down,
until words, becomes lines that grows till done,
Don't know if a message must coming through,
or even when love is giving the clue,
don't know if this all makes a poets soul,
I only know that this feeling is wonderful,
when I write and create,
help the mind to escape,
from pain or sorrow,
or drowned into love,
and words come in drove,
and I write and I write,
release my feelings inside,
nothing can't stop it,
even my mind can't drop it,
afraid to loose the line,
searching words to design,
with words to blow,
want let it go,
I'm on track,
no way back,
till I can see all what I have penned,
watching the time that I have spend,
impatiently desire to show it,
don't know if this all makes a poet.

Not sure of all of the rules myself but I do know that you are indeed a poet and one heck of a good one at that.  Nice to see you inspired by another fine poets work.  Wonderful read.

thank you Mark for your support, I always look out for your reply, cause I admire your work, but I think that you know that, and  I am also honoured that you see me as a poet....(still can't see myself as one)

But well that's my problem (not)....I really enjoy it inhere, and that's the most important thing for me.

((hugs))

I should add...with every word you translate from your feelings, you give the world a part of you, such an unselfish act. That's what we all do, without thought of what others may think. It's what we feel. Our world has been exposed to let others see, in hopes to make everyones world a better place.

Not the lines,
nor the rhyme.
Can't be the love or the sorrow.
Words on yesterdays or tomorrow.
None of these things make me a poet.
I am, 'cause I am-my heart serves to show it.

Sorry! Got inspired! Heh, what makes a poet? Couldn't tell ya. Honesty? Heart? Creativity? Or a Thesaurus? (lol) I think it's luck mostly. God gave me a gift to say what I feel (and THANK GOD for that!) Everyone feels the same (not EXACTLY the same) emotions we poets write about, but not everyone was blessed with the talent to express. Count your lucky stars- then go and write about it!

Much love all,
Krissie
