Italian Sonnet

In the darkness, far beyond the night
Is an unreachable, bright star
The star that shines brighter, no matter how far
The one you cling to, always in sight
The one you are drawn, the power of a white knight
Humming to the slow tempo, the strings of a guitar
In the shadows of the hemisphere, to the Cote d'Ivoire
The wings of my dreams, my dreams take flight
The one bright star, will it always be there?
Mystical starlight shining above
How could it be anything, but what it seems?
Yes, I think it is, it is you my love
Bathing me in fragrance of foxglove
My brilliant star, my celestial regime

Beautiful, as always. Damn we should be better appreciated by these men, don't you think?
Want to help me with sonnets?

Beautiful. The title was what grabbed me. Nice work, Victoria.
