Two Hearts - One Sigh
~*Marge Tindal*~
~*~
When a sigh of desire
whispers your name in the night
an exhaled essence of love
drifts softly through time
wending it's way to you
traveling the path across
the stairway of the night
picking up stardust to sprinkle
upon your fairy tale dreams
a special moment is born in your heart
when it comes to rest on the satin pillow
where you cradle your head
and whispers
'I love you'
~*~
then barely above a whisper
you breathe it back from whence it came
and it tiptoes through the path of familiar stars
strung across the twinkle of endless night
falling quietly into another's heart
and whispers
'me too'
~*~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

A whisper of love
A sigh so deep
A moment from above
A memory to keep

Time opened in chance
Worlds seen in light
Love captured in dance
As two are one tonight

dazzled by the stars strung across the sky, hanging by a thread, Marge this is a magical poem, totally awed at the essence it bestows.
