A Tenuous Grip On A Gossamer Vine ( Doc's Thesis)

Me Tarzaned through this world just fine
and watched it all unfold .
With n'er a care for written line
no pen my hand to hold .
For I was of the chosen few
convinced of what me see ,
must in truth , of my naive youth ,
comprise reality .

The jungle growth of daily life
contrived to hold me bound ,
onto a certain narrow path
with both feet on the ground ,
and there I dwelt for many years
complacently in line ,
aquiring trappings bought with blood
and sweat, and tears , of mine .

Then one day it just happened , the
fascade began to slip .
Without any great fan-fare , I
now found within my grip .
The one means to propel myself
beyond confusions whine ,
and briefly swing above it all
on this gossamer vine !

There is no finer transport than
this one tenuous link .
to prove this thesis I must leave
Absentia , I think ...

Rainydays,
Me been many fine places , but none so fine as here. Just had to step outside myself and then just re-appear, and then give thanks to all who helped ,for now my path is clear ,
for now I will just shut my mouth , but thank you much , my dear .

I am so glad you found this thread,
amongst all of the others.
Perhaps in some small way this means
in poetry we're brothers
If not then you must surely ex-
cuse me of my largesse
and not hold me accountable
for the entire mess.
