try singing this one ..

Another blue jean day in Texas
preparing potato salad in the morn
dicing onions and celery
in my stable of bloodshot tears

I sprinkle a little salt and pepper
holding on to the reins
my wooden spoons.. galloping
through potato fields
and green parsley lands

galloping through mayo rivers
and meadows..celery seed
searching for apple cider vinegar
mustard and milk..daffodil gold

i feed my spoons pickle relish
and a half dozen boiled eggs

a little taste of sugarcane
as thirsty hoofs gallops by
through waterfalls
of creamy ranch dressing
these onions..think im going to cry

adorn with rays of paprika
color of the trees..redwood
sitting in the saddle of my kitchen
Mmmm ..this taste sooo good . . .

listening to Garth on the radio
im almost finished ...WHOOOA
just another blue jean day in Texas
i wrap the potato salad to go

Its for a friend leaving the hospital
but i saved a little for us though..

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Well, I was afraid to try singing it (I'd probably break the screen on the computer if I did), but I liked the poem.
