Another Word For Thesaurus

A beast that wields some mighty words
The eternal great Thesaurus
A dinosaur of writer’s need
A living Brontosaurus

A friend to comfort poet’s mind
As midnight oil burns
Thesaurus holds the pen in hand
As through the book he churns

An army of precise intent
Of military strength
Alert and poised at his command
To help at any length

A song of glory born of soul
The lyrics well defined
From out the mother lode of life
From which the words were mined

A beast, a friend, a song ,a book
In Windows of today
The dinosaur that’s now on line
Created by Roget

would more than on thesaurus be thesauri?
what would a gathering of them be?
as in a herd of cattle-- or a brace of ducks..?..perhaps a "jumble"?

And another word for "poetry" is "Elizabeth"...defined and stated as fact in the cowboy pages of wisdom.

Delightful verse, Elizabeth! I have to get me one of those Roget's  Thesaurus thingies...one of these days!
