emptiness emits
flowing from
deep down
where wishes
once occupied
violet visions
suddenly stemming
living like
passion's portal
beginning by
caressing carefully
hurting hearts
gracefully gather
ambitions around
my memories
tarnished treasures
jaded journey
neverending needs
images inside
quip quietly
kindly keeping
zestful zeal
yearning yonder
until upon
rivers run
xenophobic x-rays

Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats

I once tried to do what you have wonderfully accomplished here. I believe my attempt still sits forlornly in my "Work in Progress" folder *sigh*

Enjoyed this! Poetic Alphabet soup - YUM! Nothing finer...

Simple, eloquent and elegant.
(I should have used two "S'S" in a row, eh?  What is especially magical is that the message is firmly intact, so the artistry of the writing along with the science of the form are blended into an amazing orchestration....

THANK YOU!
