Someone Like You Amy M Kennedy Seems all my life I've been searching Searching for something special and true Chased rainbows and endless skies of blue Searching for someone like you You make it all worth-while Help me raise my chin to the sky, this you do Been doing some soul-searching Searching for someone like you The road of life with all it's twists and turns The feeling and intensity of love--sometimes it burns But still I've been looking, made a discovery or two All the while searching for someone...someone like you My quest for true love...seems its come to a final end Finding the love of a life-time...you're my best friend and lover too Peace fills my heart, it no longer rains clouds of blue For I finally have found my heart's match...in someone like you. |
