Days and nights across the divide
Along trails and highways
Through hamlets, cities
Knocking on doors, empty answers

Searching for a trace
Needing to find a place
Where you lay in wait
Leaving the warm fire
You could not rest
Note half written
Saying! I love, am gone!

Many days spent searching
Nights wondering
Are you OK are you fine!
I ain't giving up this cross
Until you settle down
Be it with me or someone else

Mountains are not high enough
For me to climb.
Oceans are not large enough
For me to find
Your lost soul to hold

When we come to meet
Yet once again
I will wrap you in my arms
And welcome you back
Once more from your pain

My love for you
Grows ever stronger
Each time I have to search
And seek your weary embrace
I'll never give up on you

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Everyone needs someone who will not give up on them. That last line really got to me!

"When red-haired girls scamper like roses
over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""

I'm with Irish Rose!  That last line got me, too!  Absolutely wonderful expression of loyalty and love here, Daniel!  Love it!!

The whole piece was wonderful, but I have to agree with the ladies when I say that the last verse and last line say so much.  The eternity of a "TRUE" love.  Excellent piece.

Mark,
Serenity,
You are so good to me all of you, I do not know how to thank you enough. The road to happiness is knowing the other people in your life are happy and comfortable with themselves. Cheers.
