Life keeps changing
Rearranging
I am still the same
People leave me
Some deceive me
Some find me to blame
Heart betrays me
Time delays me
Lost and no one knows
And all the lies
Of all the highs
Hide my constant lows
Want tomorrow
Forget sorrow
Take comfort in dreams
No use thinking
Fighting sinking
Heavier it seems
Smile lonely
Happy only
With what I once had
Heart keeps beating
Life’s repeating
Cycles all too sad

Hey Kevin,
Life will only let you down if you allow it to. Live for now, for today. Tomorrow, is very far away, and yesterday ain't here. Cheers my friend, grasp now.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Ah, such words of wisdom from a poet's young heart, yes, it's all true!

over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""

Kevin~
Each tomorrow we make it to
is one more chance to rearrange our lives.
Tomorrow became today - and someday looms on the horizon !
Smile ... it becomes you !

Good to see you here, my friend.

Kevin--

as always your writing touches me deep within. this poem is no exception. first excellent rhyming. but more importantly the message behind this is fantastic. apparently you have seen and experienced a lot in your short life. from one young poet to another...i understand. take care m'friend. excellent piece!

~amy~

p.s. never lose sight of tomorrow but live for today. for today is really all any of us have.   *smiles* to ya.
