*There has been so much incredible poetry that I've read this morning ... I just had to stop and write a little thank you to everyone here. I know I can't respond to each and every poem, but I sure wish I could! This is truly a wonderful haven, with such heart and warmth, and if you don't mind me saying this "one more time" ... I just love this place!

You've Touched My Heart - A Thank You to Everyone

I'm sitting here just smiling,
As I read your many lines,
Your treasured hearts upon the page
Are shared with thoughts from mine.

I can't begin to tell you
All the times I'd like to write,
Just how your words have touched me,
As I read through day and night.

One moment, I am laughing
At your wit and play on words,
Another moment, sighing
At the beauty you have shared.

You take me, every one of you,
Through journeys in my mind,
You paint such glowing pictures,
Where my fantasies unwind.

I dance from post to post, not knowing
What I'll find in store,
From sadness to enlightenment ...
Each leaves me wanting more.

I never thought I'd find that I'd
Take such delight to view,
The many verses I have read,
Since sharing here with you.

It's in these walls, I find release,
From daily life mundane,
You've kept my mind alert and joyous,
Helped to keep me sane!

And though, in person, we've not met
Not formally, that's so ...
I find through words and comments,
It's your heart, I've come to know.

So thank you, for the lives you share,
Each day upon this site,
And know that when I read your words ...
You've touched my heart tonight.

Kit - I think I might be able to speak for a lot of people here when I say that you've done more than your share of touching hearts around here... not only with your poetry, but with your warm, caring heart!

This is a beautiful tribute lady!

What a great way to tell everyone, and of course, we all don't have the time or the stamina to respond to all the wonderful poems, and there are just so many of them!

Thank you for posting this, quite appropriate and very much appreciated.

Kit-I will always hold true the words that "YOU" have not only touched me through your words but in your actions as well as you have so many times pulled me out of a state of sadness just by accepting so readily my little challenges and bringing them back with words so beautiful and so quickly that tears would well up in my eyes.  Want to know a secret?  I picked on you so much because "YOUR" words and "YOUR" verses reach me deeply each and everytime I read them and I was being greedy as I wanted "YOU" to pen some of them for me, though they were truely offered up for the masses to enjoy, I had the knowledge that for just a few moments, your poetic pen was writing for me or because of me.  There, now do you know how much your pen and your heart have touched me deeply?  Hugs to you my friend, never ever change please.  You are the perfect you.

Oh Kit, what a beautiful way to say thank you, and so well written too. Your words are a light that shine from your soul, and it's obvious to me, (and everyone knows I'm not the brightest star in the sky, more like a black hole!) that you have a gift. So I thank you personally, and on behalf of the  hospital where I work. Because Kit I've often placed one of your poems on the notice board, for it's sheer beauty. Hospitals are such sterile places, they need all the help they can get, and you dear Kit give it in abundance.
Take care

Don't tell anyone but I just love this place too!
And it wouldn't be the same without you
Now I know your not leaving
And this is not some heavy breathing
But I just had to say this to you
And I want you to know it's true
I'm getting a tingle in my toes
Well here it goes…………….
                           "Shhhh! He's gonna
                           speak?!"

Would you!!!……………Hey!?
All right who else is listening?!!
Only Kit was to press that button.
I guess I'll just give you a phone call later tonight!!
He! He!
Well I hope I didn't put you in suspense like "The Phonecall" you
made in "Voices on the web" LOL
Anyway I love you Kit

It has meant a lot to have this wonderful place, and to know, even in a small way, all of the phenomenal people that I have met.

WOW! This is going to take me a while to catch up here, LOL!  I'm absolutely stunned by so many incredible responses everyone, you've almost got me crying now ... stop that!

~Chris:  Thank you so much for these beautiful words Chris! Now I promise not to tell anyone else ... but I also think "you" have a warm and caring heart, and I'm so grateful to be touched by it (shhhh, it'll be our little secret).

~Karilea:  Thank you so much Karilea! Now I hope for whatever reasons, neither of us has to find that out, LOL! Thanks for the applause!

~Elizabeth:  Thank you so much Elizabeth, your kind thoughts mean a great deal to me, much appreciation from my heart!

~RainbowGirl:  I'm so glad I was able to bring a smile to your face, and thank you so much for the hug ... it brought a smile to mine!

~Kathleen:  It's a bittersweet irony Kathleen, so many poems and too little time to read each and every one, though they are all indeed special and wonderful. Thanks so much!

~Mark:  Oh Mark, I could never change if it means whatever I'm doing now brings me such a beautiful and heartfelt response as this. You are so sweet ... OK, time for a challenge my luminous friend! You pick the idea and the style, and I'll be there with bells on, writing just for you, lol! Thank you sooooo much for these sweet, sweet words Mark, you've touched my heart deeply.

~James: As you have so many times with your beautiful words also James ... thank you very much!

~Serenity:  It is so very hard to explain to others what joys we receive from within these walls isn't it? Such an amazing comraderie develops, its just a blessing I think. So here's a special thanks to Ron, for enabling us to partake in it ... thanks so much Serenity!

~Victoria:  Thank you for the kind words Victoria ... I truly appreciate your comments!

~Doreen:  Smooches and hugs right back at ya Doreen (you're one of my "witty" ones that I so enjoy, but you know that right???) Thanks for the wonderful response!

~Marsha:  What a wonderful comment Marsha! I've worked in hospitals, but more often, been a patient there more times than I can count ... and I do know what you mean. It warms my heart to think that you've posted one or two of my little verses, thank you so much for telling me! Maybe I should send you the poem I wrote for my family Doctor's retirement ... it's waaaay too long to post here, LOL!

~Marge:  I so enjoy your responses Marge, thank you! As I write this, the sun has set yet again, and I know I'll still find one more treasure of yours to read before I head to sleep, so I'll be sending this right back at "you" all over again, lol!

~Insect: Among a few others here, I think this must go down in history as one of my most creative and sweet responses received yet! You've left me utterly speechless, and a great big smile on this face of mine. Thank you for the delightful poem, and may I say "best wishes" to you, my suspenseful friend!

~Wilfred: Oh, thank you so much Wilfred! I'm amply repaid by your beautiful words, I will treasure them!

~Sharon:  I'm so glad I came out of hiding too Sharon! This place has given me so much, it's hard to imagine being without all you wonderful people. Without you realizing it, it was reading poems from you and Nan on the main site that gave me the courage to come into the forums. I'm so very grateful to you both!

~Parker:  I so appreciate your kind words Parker, and doubly enjoy reading yours as well. Thank you soooo much!

~Kethrey:  There need not be any words Kethrey ... I just appreciate your presence, thank you!

~Sven:  Ahhh Sven ... it would not be the same without one of your romantic poems either, my interviewer friend ... thanks so much!

~Charisma:  This was so sweet Charisma, thanks so much for the beautiful words and pictures, truly lovely indeed!

~Sandra: It is truly a wonderful place Sandra, and I too find myself here long after  I've promised myself I will log off and call it a night. The hearts in this haven truly shine ... thanks so much!

~SEA:  Oh, you are so kind SEA, thank you so much for the lovely thoughts ... I greatly appreciate them!

~Ariana:  Welcome to Passions Ariana! This really is a remarkable place, and I thank you so much for stopping in for a read, much appreciation to you!

~Bonnie: Oh Bonnie ... the feeling is mutual for sure. I've enjoyed many heartfelt reads under your posts, both here and on the main site. Thank you so much!

Much appreciation and best wishes,
/Kit

Kit--

you brought a tear to my eye and left me a bit speechless. but i'll try to post something that makes some sort of sense. this is beautiful! i love this place too. within these walls i've found acceptance, love and peace. who would have known that all that could be accomplished in one site on the net?! as for you my friend--you are such a doll! even when i posted a poem that was VERY hard for me to write (Moment of Truth) you accepted me for who I was. For that and for many other reasons I thank you. With a heart pure gold and a soul that is truly poetic...my heart smiles to you.

take care.

~Liz: Thank you so very much Liz. You know, you're the only one I actually "have" met formally (well at least through voice, lol).  I so appreciate the friendship that we've developed, your words bring me a smile as always my twin, thank you!

~Balladeer:  Smiling here Michael ... I think I do know how you feel, for what you've expressed here, is returned back to you in equal measure from this side. And you my friend, "do" know me ... for you've read and responded to so many of my poems ... they "are" me (well, all except "The Creature" LOL)! You've touched my heart deeply with these words, and I thank you Michael.

~EagleOne:  Thank you EagleOne, it's amazed me that it's gone this length, but I am so very appreciative, for it's the reason I wrote this piece initially ... it's a wonderful place full of exceptional people, with the warmest of hearts!

~Nan:  LOL Nan ... thanks for recycling this one last time, and for being "you" ... I so appreciate your thoughts and friendship.
