His words dance and rise with grace upon the page,
beckoning to my heart ... his invitation for desires to engage.
His rhymes enchant me ... their promises to entice and linger,
his verses slide golden rings of love gently 'round my fingers.

I long to see love ... through his poetic, gifted, eyes,
to share his vision, his dreams, to then see where my future lies.
To know his secrets ... to touch the core of his soul's essence,
to be consumed and contented by the grace of his poetic presence.

Just to know the gifts of his passion's pleasures,
to touch, to taste ... to discover his many sensual treasures.
Should fate grant this chance ... his every fantasy I wish to fulfill,
would my dreams come true as this desire overtakes my will.

By his every word conceived ... I am captivated,
Transfixed on his offerings ... I am fascinated.
Baptize me in the sweet depths of his poetic cascade,
I surrender to the temptations as all my resistance fades.

Drawn to his poetic promise ... this offering on bended knee.
An invitation to taste contentment ... a chance to dance with ecstasy.
Temptation and fascination ... born of desperation and desire.
To just once ... be touched like this ... to just once be taken higher.

Do I look to the stars for the answers ... does the moon know where my heart lies.
Will there be anything left of me ... once I drown in the depths of his eyes.
Does the sun know the secrets ... will the mist of morn whisper what I should do.
Will I be able to find my way back to me ... once I fall any deeper into you.

Janet Marie

I have a project that may take me from here for a little while ...
a new job of sorts ...
I will still be stopping into read ...
but may not have time to reply as much I love
to do.
please understand E-mail replies may be slow in returning.
please forgive my silence ... and know I'd rather be here.
my love to all in poetry land
jm

moth to the flame...you're not to blame...
rise to the skies...where fantasy lies...

come quick, come quiver...he's the one, who's the giver...
rapidly lost can be...the lover of fantasy...

do what you must, quick, to trust...
and long shall you be, in the romantic fantasy...

JM...see you soon

You just knew the title would draw me in didn't you.    Exquisite is a word that has come up a few times of late, and it certainly applies to this masterful work. Take care!

oh you big sweetheart! what a lovie-dovie one. this was very sweet and so full of compliment, tribute...
and desire...

and i know you'll be back. this was a nice note to have an absence on.
-------
"his verses slide golden rings of love gently 'round my fingers."

"to share his vision, his dreams, to then see where my future lies"
-------
and the whole last stanza was great. the golden rings line...great line. the flow and image *brrr!* i got a chill, it's so good!

First solid step...followed by another and all out of the attraction to a burning flame.  Hhmmmm, sounds like it is going to get nothing but hotter and more intense.  So, could this be a bad thing?  I think not.  Wonderful write my sweet friend and if you lift those wings up off the ground, they wouldn't be smokin so much.  You might need them to fly down south again ya know.

Janet--

and to think I ALMOST missed this one.
gosh I must be starting to slack quite
terribly LOL. You KNOW I love it when
you write like this. Seems from time to
time dear friend...you and I share the
same thoughts/feelings. The only difference
is that you pen them so much better than
me! Just take that compliment and smile.
Do what you must, write when you can. I know
I along with everyone else here totally
understands the duties of real life. None
of us can be here as much as we like, and
some of us spend wayyyyy to much time here
as it is. I know I'm guilty! LOL. Take care.

Love ya,
Amy
P.S. I wrote ya a letter (snail-mail) yeee hawww today. Will send it to ya in tomorrow's mail.

*exhale* DAMN!!!! I am almost in tears here that was soooooo beautiful. Even my poetic heart is stunned and speechless. I am printing it out and taping it to my wall, so I can read it everyday. Awww man, I think I'm crying now.... but I'm gonna read it again!!! You just became my hero. It's so hard to find the right words to express emotion, but every now and then, someone gets it right. And I don't think there is anything more right than feeling like that! Don't ever stop writing, you'd break my heart.

I didn't see this before and now that I have I wonder if I ever felt that at all?  I doubt it.  Drawn into the eyes of someone and staying there for me are two different things.
