You stole into my dreams last night
and swept my heart away
you took me to a far off place
and asked me there to stay

The music played so softly
the words you spoke so sweet
you pulled out all the stops
and completely swept me off my feet

With candle light and daisies
slow dancing and white wine
hot kisses up my neck
wild shivers down my spine

My heart was beating loudly
my pulse screaming in my head...............
Oh.......the alarm clock is ringing........
time to get out of bed.

SEA, I thought I'd read this but if I did I didn't leave a note, so maybe I didn't. It's a really a super poem, so cute, and too true too. The number of times I've had to buy a new alarm clock, because the last one suddenly and with no help whatsoever, simply flew across the room. Beautifully written, and I really like this one.
Take care

Dreams left slumbering in the heart
As the alarm sounds today's start
Left to taunt all through the day
Hibernating till sleep is but winks away

Many ranges we shall roam ever so free
Many nights of heaven's stars for us to see
So many places for two friends to go for a ride
I count my blessings and call you friend with pride.

SEA,
Waking from such dreams and remembering them is meaningful. It is those other beauties we never remember that eludes imagination.

Well, if you ask me, there is nothing worse than a wonderful dream interrupted by the alarm clock, reminding us of reality.  They should be outlawed.  LOL

Loved the poem!!
