Your Corner Color I watched the color fade from the corners of you,... I traced it a thousand times. I sampled fibers fraying then, and fed the earth alive. I saw around the nature, of intentions swilled, then seeping. I was alive there, in dreams, swallowed in seas, in standing on high, breathing. Watching, your corner color,... fade. |

I've seen this, and watched it happen...You capture it, too well...and then to run into the friend with none of them left in 'em...sigh...it frightens me. Well done, spitfire...as always, I'm a fan. |

You know - been thinking about this a bit since the first read and think I've slightly changed my original thoughts. I don't really think that "corner color" fades... I think rather it fades in our perception. I think that people are who they are. Our acceptance of them is what undergoes the change - perhaps it's not a fading so much as a changing. We all change all the time - perhaps sometimes those changes aren't compatible, eh? Hugs m'friend - a truly sad piece. Peace - C Read my Words. Read my Face. Don't just look at either. -C |

Great stuff, SF, love it. And I have to disagree with Christopher, I have seen someone change, and I know for sure it was not just my perception of him. Anyway, I feel this one all the way in my heart.. Sandra |

Love your writing SpitFire For you Colour to Colour Colours will change in time Like poet's words in rhyme Only the poet can make the change A transition that seems kind a strange A poet's colour is in the rainbow Part of a cascade, a brilliant glow This is where poets are made From colour to colour they will fade |

SF, Such sadness emits from your words. It is awful to watch this happen. So scary my friend. Wishing you all the best. Be well you. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
