Distant Kisses

All I see is that little picture
It holds me close to youÖ
You the voice and words of nether
Beyond the touch of fantasyís hue

I often wonder how you feel,
in rhythm of the lovers dual
Those lips of rose petal sweetness,
without their press, a death so cruel

I kiss the image, my distant heart dream,
This glass restrains your sweet imbue
And still I feel your loverís passion,
behind the hardness of a cursed tube

Do you think of sinful kisses?
When lips will cross the space to you
Do you dream of celestial visions,
Polaris winks a subtle loverís clue!

There stands a place beyond horizons,
where a winter and summer dance ensues
There lives the light of a poets lover,
who writes of distant kisses for you.

This is a dramatic display of passion, I really enjoyed this one.

simply perfection from your poets pen ...
the emotions, the imagery, the vocab choices..
every beautiful line ..
very well thought out and written
all of which is nothing less than we've come to expect when reading your poetry.
this one goes in that special file of my favs by you ...
and you already know how much I relate to this ones message..
yeah you know...moth to flame baby...
shes a lucky lucky muse to inspire this in you.

Your poem is the personification of longing from afar. Tender, with a lovely touch of innocence...enough to melt any maiden's heart, I would think. Thank you.
