A ghost in my bones It dies by my touch I turn on the lights I miss it so much It can’t hurt me But it held me It can’t see me But it loves me It knows of wisdom It’s lacking a heart Doesn’t lay matches Where fires could start It swallows the fire Grins from the shadow Takes from the sun And withers the moon The careless caress Borne emptiness Careens controless It is my vampress Teeth, dry from slather Controls my now And forgives my rather Dream, it fills the void That it fondled from lips That pressed dry teeth Into succulent hips But forth comes the sadness The monstrous madness And a battle is fought To busy the misery Tween the pendulum strike Whence my eyes flutter open And I see we’re alike The ghost and I We bite our bones Til flesh is gone A house here, there We find to haunt Tonight we found Each other here Don’t breathe, beckon… [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 10-19-2000).] |
