What Songs Do Angels Sing

What songs do angels sing
As they fly aloft the sky
What colours spring from unicorns
As they breathe a misty sigh
What marvels are revealed
As beside your heart I lie

What stars can dance above
Like diamonds in the velvet night
What dreams can summon love
To bathe in beauteous light
What magic is gifted me
as your soul spins into sight

What mysteries do rivers learn
That they first tell to the sea
What secrets do doves call
To souls who seek to be free
What delights my senses fill
When first you softly kissed me

What lives inside a heart
That hears anothers beat
What calls behind your eyes
Causing passion flame to heat
What joy astounds my soul
To find I'm now complete

Marsha

Karilea, thank you, softly sensual, yes Kari, I think that's the best desciption. I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for reading.
Take care

Marge, thank you kindly, I was going to wax lyrical Marge, but my mind must have meandered off.

Mark my friend, how kind, what can I say, nothing apart from thank you, now there's a gift!! So see me dumb, now there's a change!! (It won't last long, so make good use of the silence)
Take care

This is one of my favorites, too..   Very lovely and beautiful..

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

Broken winged angel, I'm touched, and I thank you, I honestly didn't expect that this would get any replies. As for being one of your favourites, you honour me truly, and I thank you once again.

Tracie, I'm astonished that this has got such a terific response. I actually wrote this last night while I was working, and I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but it only took about ten minutes. I feel rather a fraud for accepting praise for something, that just sort of appeared.
So I thank you, and I'm pleased you like it.

Poet's Sister I thank you, and I'm deeply touched

Victoria, Thank you, I'm truly mystified where this came from, probably as a gift from an angel maybe. I really appreciate you stopping and reading this and for your reply I deeply appreciate you taking the time to do so.

Wilfred, I thank you, truly it's one of those times when you scribble away to fill in time. Between one crisis and another and then you look at what you've written and it was this. So I'm glad that wherever this came from it is liked.

Charisma, I thank you, but as I said I take no credit for this at all, it just appeared. I made no real effort, and so I feel as if it's a gift from somewhere else. So wherever this came from and from whoever this came from I'm grateful.
Take care

Ron, I thank you most sincerely, and I do appreciate you taking the time to read this, and also to reply. I'm glad it transported you, we could all do with a little transportation to magical lands once in a while.
