day morsels ...

for the remainder of this day
thoughts of you with me stay
of youth, life, reality
brimming heart's vitality
when to see your lifting face
spirits soar up to the place
where you and i become as one
when love's remainder equals none

after night's sparkling song
the day to you, i belong
if once more i see love's bloom
hearts to race upon their plume
we'll dine the feast of love again
savoring morsels 'til the end
of love's final favorite course
our day's together be the source

This is like Act 2 of Marge's Barely Dawn. Morning arousal, nightly stimulation, "love's final favorite course"...
and both so genuinely delicate. Of course if I've over-interpreted this in a sensual light, blame the poem I just finished!

Loved this line: where you and I become as one/when love's remainder equals none. Thank you, MA
