I knocked upon your door
You said come-in
I found you in the floor
Life had put you down
With just one blow
Oh…how the tears flowed
I picked you up,
We found common ground
I hung around
Until the smiles were all around
You said we were friends forever more
Well baby, Seem that “forever” has come and gone
You are never around anymore
I am starting to see the score
You don’t need me anymore
Am I just a piece of trash to be swept out the door
You don’t want me around
Is that why you can never be found
Well Princess I can take a hint
I will pick up the pieces of my heart
And head for the door
When you hear the slamming
Of the door
You will have to find
Someone new to play with
For this heart will never more
Pick anyone up off the floor
You have made me smile
You have thrilled me
And now, You have put me in denial
Now you have chilled me
My heart has turned to ice
My blood flows cold
The game you played so well
Has taken its toll
You have been the inspiration
For more than one
But baby this is the last one

I know these feelings well...but feelings do change and forever does not always mean forever...it is just a simple word meaning so much in time but if the proper action is not taken time takes away our forevers..James

Doors can really be our enemy can't they?  Lots of great venting in this one!!!!

Alan your feelings really poured out in this, don't let it close the door to someone that can share a true rainbow
