~~Roses Need Rain~~

How much does one need love?

As much as a rose needs rain?
to feel the touch of silver drops
melt in stems stretched high
soothes the empty core

A refreshed bud
becomes a loved rose
it's essence filled
made complete by love
perfected in purpose

A reason to need love...

This is now a favorite of mine, I just loved the whole concept, yes, when a Rose receives love she certainly blooms.  Very nicely done.

If you were a rose in my garden. You would know love before it rained.
Wonderful piece. I enjoyed it.

Alan's reply was poetry waiting to be written....see how we all inspire one another?

I love roses! And I love poems about roses.  This one conveys the beauty of a rose just perfectly.  Thanks for the good read.

Alan~ Thanks, guess it sounds like my roses nearly died....lol not so just away for the season.

Kathleen~ Thank you, Glad you like.

Mark~ lol, Just another one of my forsaken roses in the yard made me think the poor
thing needs a little love, just like people.

Victoria~ Thank you, glad you saw a little beauty there.

Mona~ Thanks. I too love to write about flowers, roses are my favorite.

Daniel~ To me there is nothing quite as lovely as a red rose in full bloom. I love the fall season, but hate to see the flowers go.
