If you sat back and examined your life
tell me what would you see?
A dog, a house, maybe even a wife,
could you describe it to me?
Would you see a happy man
who has achieved his greatest goal?
Or would you see a weathered old man
upon which life has taken it's toll?
Could you say that you were satisfied
of the things that you've done in the past?
Or would the past be haunting you,
with dreams that ever will last?
If you looked in the mirror would you see
a man that is happy today?
Or would the image be that of a man
who has somehow lost his way?
Would that image that you see,
be someone tried and true?
Or would it be an empty shell,
of this man that you call you?
Ponder these questions,
and ask yourself
am I a happy man today?
And if that answer should be no
then may God help you to find your way.
When you sit back and examine your life,
tell me-
what do you see?
I'm waiting-
I want to hear this song,
please come share it with me.
Could you please
just tell me who~
who is this man
that you call you?

Gentle Spirit,
I like this ...A LOT. I especially like
who is this man
that you call you?
Be well

Aimster, Sea, and Sven, THANK YOU all so much.  I think I was in one of my "reflecting" moods about life when I wrote this piece.  Thanks again.

far from pleased totally - but I make no apology - "I did it my way" - could I have done better - most certainly - Might I have done worse - that too - (see how much you made me think   )
Good one
