Too much
too many
misunderstandings...
rapid fire
brain unruly
to have walked
and walked
a pack on back
wearing out my
shoes of leaving
and now
the crime
is that I stay
and hold my ears
against the drone
to understand
too little, late...
and left bereft
unatoned...

I light another cigarette
and wish I were alone...

Tender softness
as in the tears
of a child
wrapped in
tortured givings
of life's
hardening of
suede cracking
beneath
residules of
heat blistering
paths ... given
much for the
eye to occupy
if gazed upon
the case but
the fortune of
knowledge is
the golden
heart inside
weeping for
the knowledge
of just one
to see.

*I see* my friend...* I truely see*.  Wonderful write my target of angel dander.  You reach and you touch in every word you penn.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of you.  I've obviously had a crappy night...but would like to thank you all for being "there"---where ever that might be.

Also, while I would hope that no one can relate, if by chance you have read this and do, here is an interesting link for you:

Hope I did that right...smile...according to some, it would have been a first for today.

Thanks again, you guys are great.

Karen--This poem IS the way you walk...and it is strong and stomps and has blisters, but it is true...it is you!

Serenity, truth unbound in your words...a wealth to ponder in the brevity of this piece.
